If you love old-school 2d rpg games like Legend of Zelda, or modern versions like the Aveyond series, then this is for you. If you've never tried this type of game before, I strongly recommend you give it a try.You follow an engrossing story, with twists and turns in the plot which you don't expect, but which never seem unlikely. The characters grow on you until you come to really empathize with them. Some of them are what you'd expect in this type of game, others are quirky (talking chameleon anyone?). You travel through a vast world, with loads of places to explore, secrets to find, side quests to do. You get plenty of clues about where to go/what to do next, but if you get stuck there is an excellent walkthrough on the developer's site. And it's long!! 30 hours minimum, and huge replay value, not just because it's such a brilliant game, but because there's going to be something new that you missed first time round.
This is a fun platform game that is very cute although quite frustrating when you get stuck on a level and can't work out how to get past the next obstacle. The little dog Scampy gets to run, jump, pick up gems, bones and food, in the quest to save his girlfriend Camy. He has to avoid all sort of baddies and bombs along the way.
